About Fiorella

Hi, I’m Fiorella (Kelly) Drozd! I am passionate about making yoga accessible and beneficial for all. As a certified yoga teacher (RYT-200) with over a decade of personal practice, my teaching emphasizes mindful movement, breath awareness, and alignment to guide students toward self-discovery and holistic well-being.

Originally from Chicago, my journey has taken me to Memphis and finally to San Francisco in 2020. After 15+ years in high-stress roles across marketing, program management, and sales, yoga became my sanctuary—a space to manage stress, heal, and focus on my well-being.

As a cyclist, former college athlete, and someone who has navigated major surgeries and injuries, I bring a compassionate understanding of physical and emotional healing. My personal experiences shape my commitment to creating an inclusive space where students of all abilities can explore resilience, growth, and the transformative power of yoga.

Deeply inspired by my teachers Megan Drozd, Martin Scott, Europa "Ro" Grace, Anthony Rocco, and Michelle Nayeli Bouvier, as well as the disciplined and dynamic Ashtanga yoga tradition and the fluidity and mindful style of Vinyasa yoga.

I’m dedicated to sharing the richness of yoga while continuing to expand my own practice.

I teach public classes, as well as private sessions in San Francisco or online. Join me to nurture your body, mind, and spirit through asana practice and discover the profound benefits of yoga.

Roots of Yoga Acknowledgement

I am deeply grateful to the teachers and communities who have preserved yoga philosophy through history, despite colonization and cultural erasure. I honor yoga’s origins in South Asia, recognizing it as a spiritual, philosophical, and cultural tradition far beyond the physical asana practice.

I approach my practice, and asana teaching with humility, respecting the wisdom and lineage that guide me. I strive to share yoga with respect, promoting inclusivity and accessibility while continuing my education in its philosophy and history. I am committed to seeking knowledge from authentic sources to deepen my understanding of yoga.
